Motion Controls
Control
Methods
The main principle of motion control is defined as a sub-field of
automation that deals with moving individual parts of a machine in a controlled
method with computer software. This is especially helpful in applications such as
production lines, where control, efficiency, and accuracy of movement are
critically important. The uses of motion control are limitless, but several reasons
why a client would need motion control is to make elements appear and
disappear, match scales, control filming and lighting on products, for mixing live-
action, and for specific music video effects.
